PHC asks govt to decide PTI leaders’ pleas against Fourth Schedule nominations

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Thursday directed the provincial government to decide the petitions of several lawmakers-elect and PTI leaders against the recommendation of authorities to put their names in the Fourth Schedule of the Anti-Terrorism Act. PHC stops law-enforcement agencies from arresting PTI leader Shandana

PESHAWAR: A Peshawar High Court bench on Friday stopped the federal and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa law-enforcement agencies, including police, from arresting former woman lawmaker of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insafand independent election candidate Shandana Gulzar Khan in any of the cases registered against her until further orders.
