Lawyer says laws bended to benefit a convict

PESHAWAR: Senior lawyer and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Qazi Muhammad Anwar on Wednesday said that the country’s laws and constitution were bended last week to provide relief to a convicted criminal. Speaking at a press conference along with another lawyer Muazzam Butt and other lawyers, he said that a convicted criminal, who should have been punished for his deeds, was being cleared to pave way for bringing him to power.
