PTI seeks elections under supervision of judiciary

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, has said that the upcoming general elections should be conducted under the supervision of judiciary to ensure transparency, impartiality and fairness. PHC seeks centre’s response to ex-Fata funds plea

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Tuesday directed the prime minister’s principal secretary and federal finance secretary to respond to a petition seeking its orders for the federal and provincial governments to provide three per cent share in the National Finance Commission Award and Rs100 billion funds annually for the development of the merged tribal districts. PHC seeks governor’s response to PTI petition for his removal

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Tuesday directed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor and government to respond to a petition seeking his removal for “violating” his oath of office by not declaring the schedule of election to the provincial assembly within 90 days deadline after its dissolution.
