ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday set aside the verdict of Peshawar High Court (PHC) declaring unconstitutional the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Civil Servants Amendment Act, 2019 that increased the retirement age of the government servants from 60 to 63 years. A three-member bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed, heard the petition filed by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) challenging the PHC verdict.
